MoneyBook - Account & Data Deletion
At MoneyBook, we respect your privacy. If you wish to delete your account and all
associated data, you can do so easily either through the app or by contacting us.
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
This is the fastest way to delete your data. Deletion is processed immediately after confirmation.
- Open the MoneyBook app.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap on Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm your action in the dialog.
Option 2: Request via Email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request deletion by emailing our support team.

Subject: Account Deletion Request
Information to include: Please send the request from the Google account (email
address) linked to your MoneyBook account for verification.
What data is deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Transaction History: Every income and expense record you have added.
- Custom Categories: All personalized categories and icons.
- Debt Records: All "Lend & Borrow" entries.
- User Settings: Your currency preferences and app configurations.
Data Retention Policy
- Immediate Deletion: Upon confirming deletion, your data is removed from our active
databases instantly.
- Backups: For security and recovery purposes, some data may reside in encrypted
backups for up to 30 days, after which it is automatically and permanently purged.
- Google Account: Your actual Google/Gmail account is not affected;
only the connection to the MoneyBook app is removed.
